Kate Hatfield
Kate Hatfield, a committed personal injury attorney based in Jacksonville, FL, holds a B.A. in Criminal Justice from the University of Central Florida and a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Widener University School of Law. Kate is admitted to practice law in Florida (2007), the United States District Court - Middle District of Florida (2007), and Minnesota (2013), showcasing her legal expertise across multiple jurisdictions. Kate's passion for assisting people traces back to her childhood. Her involvement in personal injury and accident claims started early, as she frequented her parent's offices. Since high school, Kate held positions in both her father's chiropractic office and law firm, providing her with a unique dual perspective on patient injuries and the application of accident laws. Despite her early exposure, Kate explored various areas of the law in her youth. In 2007, she established her own firm, specializing in navigating Florida's Lemon Law. However, Kate's heart remained with helping accident and injury victims. In response to her calling, she transitioned back to personal injury law, mirroring the path her father had paved before her. In 2016, Kate rebranded her firm as Hatfield & Hatfield, PA, an homage to her partnership with her husband, John Hatfield. Their shared commitment to advocating for clients in personal injury cases has solidified the firm's reputation for excellence. Kate has been married to John since 2007, Kate and her husband are proud parents of four wonderful children. This family-centric approach reflects Kate's dedication not only to her legal practice but also to fostering a supportive environment for her clients and loved ones.
